![]() It's mostly OK, but hitches a little every now and then. As with before I upgraded my drivers, I can run in "Gamer" mode but I'm not entirely happy with the framerate. The window would just go away and Vista would tell me my drivers had crashed.įorcing DirectX 9 fixed the crashing. Apparently something of a lose for me, since after I did that the game wouldn't load. Updated to the latest official nVidia drivers. Warhead is having problems launching properly in full screen for a lot of people, and you'll see nothing more than a blank screen. To the OP, force the game to launch in windowed mode using the -windowed parameter. Don't really mind much about 64-bit being pulled, but no Sandbox2 update for the modcom was a really stupid move, especially if it takes as long as the first SDK did. ![]() They need to get rolling with the first patch though, no Sandbox2 update really pissed me off, they said nothing about delaying it until after release. CRYSIS PUNKBUSTER UPDATE MODI don't have much time ATM to sink my teeth into Crysis Wars, but Warhead seems to be nothing more than a really polished mod campaign, with roughly 5-6 hours of playtime. The pre-rendered intro they made doesn't even run at 60 fps (the actual video plays at 60, the rendered scenes they recorded obviously do not). Same here, on 280s / Vista64, there is no noticeable performance difference for me so far between this and 1.21. The max frame rates hit 40s or even 50s, but there's a significant problem where the frame rate goes to shit when I pan around and move the direction my character's facing. This game doesn't really run any better for me than the original Crysis (SLI 8800GT/ C2D 3GHZ/ 3GB Usable RAM/XP SP3).
